As a small business inspired by Japanese culture, vintage textiles, and the beauty of giving traditional materials a new life, one of the most meaningful parts of what we do is meeting the people who connect with our story.

Seeing Kimono Badges Out in the Community 🎌
One of our favorite moments of the day was seeing kids proudly wear their Kimono Badges. 🎌
For us, these small moments are especially meaningful. Japanese culture can be discovered in many different ways, and we love seeing traditional Japanese-inspired elements become part of everyday life in a fun and approachable way.
Seeing the Kimono Badges being worn by children at the market reminded us why sharing Japanese culture through modern, accessible products is so special to us.

Farmers markets are about more than shopping. They create opportunities for local businesses, makers, families, and neighbors to come together and discover something new.
For a small brand like Second Bloom Tokyo, these face-to-face connections are incredibly valuable. Online, it is easy to focus on products, photographs, and websites. But meeting someone in person and hearing their thoughts, questions, and encouraging words is something completely different.
We were especially grateful for how warmly the San Gabriel community welcomed us. The kindness and encouragement we received made our first visit a memorable one.
