✦ THE STORY BEHIND THE KIMONO PATTERN ✦

Ume to Himo, Plum Blossoms and Ribbons

A large flower crest in red, purple, and silver sits among white plum blossoms and gold flowers, while purple and pink ribbon bands flow across a gold and ivory ground. The plum, or ume, is the first flower to bloom in late winter in Japan, so it stands for hope, perseverance, and new beginnings. Graceful and bright, this pouch carries the promise of spring.

Colors and patterns may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings.
Each vintage textile is carefully inspected before being transformed into a new piece.
